Lara Watson

Prior to starting MyCorePhysio, I’ve gained a wealth of experience working both for the NHS in Liverpool and on the Isle of Wight.

I love working with people to achieve their vision for their life, whether that be helping someone to achieve their day-to-day without fear of leaks or embarrassment or helping to maximise a person’s sport’s performance. I favour a holistic approach, and have found that supporting self-management gets the best outcomes and long-term satisfaction for the people I work with.

In my free time, I’m learning Welsh and I’m into all things outdoors, and I particularly enjoy jogs with my dog. More recently, a wonderful group of inspirational women have encouraged AKA coerced me, into dunking myself into the sea, (something about health benefits of cold water immersion and because everyone needs a bit of bonkers in their life!). I haven’t looked back and have recently learned to sea swim, which, alongside Hypopressives, has allowed me to do something I never thought I would, and compete in triathlons.
